Black Country LEP encourages businesses to talk
The Black Country LEP is urging businesses and budding entrepreneurs to keep in touch with them.
The LEP wants companies and individuals to engage with them through social media such as twitter and LinkedIn.
Ninder Johal, the Black Country LEP’s private sector lead on perception and communication, said: “The Local Enterprise Partnership’s work revolves around removing barriers to growth for local businesses.
“We want to ensure that companies in the area are aware of upcoming events and initiatives in order for them to take advantage of future funding opportunities which could support their work.
“The LEP’s twitter account has gone from strength to strength over the last few months and has a very strong following while the LinkedIn group offers a platform for people to discuss latest developments.
“I would urge people to sign up to these social media groups and also subscribe to our free e-bulletins to keep on top of all latest news.”
As well as the corporate, @blackcountrylep, account, there are over 350 individual members of the Black Country LEP Partnership, who people can communicate with.
