Carlton & Co celebrate London expansion
A North East business specialising in attracting institutional investment to the UK housing sector has responded to demands for expertise by investing in a new office in London.
Carlton & Co works with a wide range of housing delivery partners, including housing associations, local authorities and developers to facilitate the development of housing led regeneration projects.
Several major UK pension funds have increased their investment exposure in the residential sector, and Carlton & Co made the decision to expand to meet these requirements
Norman Peterson, Director said: “Our role is two fold, we are helping housing delivery partners create suitable investment grade assets that meet the needs of our investment partners.
“At the same time we create long term funding solutions to support the delivery of large scale housing projects. We currently have £50M to invest in the northern region and affordable housing is one of the key markets.
“County Durham will always remain our main base but, the opening of our London office, operating alongside the Aycliffe office, will ensure that we are well placed to support a range of partners in this dynamic marketplace and we will be on hand to accelerate the large scale institutional investment into the UK housing sector”.
Craig Peterson, Director, added; “We are working with a number of London based institutional investors including large pension funds, specialist real estate funds and their advisors, who are keen to increase or enter the residential sector”.
