Bdaily’s wine and pie competition ends soon

Last week Bdaily launched a competition for a lucky reader to win a pair of tickets to a forthcoming wine event in Newcastle. The closing date for entries is Monday 18th June, so there’s not long left to enter.

Local businesses well known for their unique and high quality products have teamed up to present what we believe to be a first: an evening of wine tasting combined with gourmet pies.

Portovino import and market a range of fine wines from Portugal and Spain, and the New Zealand Gourmet Pie Company is the UK’s only producer of traditional New Zealand pies. Their pies are filled right to the top with the finest ingredients, meaning you get more tasty filling for your money. Encased in a deliciously light pastry they can be easily eaten out of your hand without wasting a crumb. We believe their mouth-watering range of fillings will be a perfect marriage with Portovino’s wines.

The event is taking place at Castlegate (www.thecastlegate.co.uk) in Newcastle on Thursday 21st June from 6pm. To enter, please email enquiries@bdaily.co.uk and mark the subject line with ‘Wine & Pies’. We will draw the winner on Monday 18th June.

Showing takes place on Thursday 21st June at 6pm.
The closing date for entries is Monday 18th June at Midday.
The draw will be made by the Bdaily team on Monday 18th June.
The winner will be randomly selected.
The winner will be emailed and also displayed on the Bdaily website and associated social networks.
The organisers of the event will be informed.
