Saddle Up For Race Days at Fratello’s
A leading North East restaurant is saddling up to help race-goers celebrate in style this summer.
Fratello’s restaurant atJesmond Road, Jesmond is offering a special Races Package for anyone attending Northumberland Plate Day (June 30) or Ladies Day (July 28) at Newcastle Racecourse.
The package, which will be available on both dates, includes a champagne breakfast at the restaurant adjoining the Holiday Inn Jesmond hotel, followed by executive transport to the racecourse in the same coach used by Newcastle United’s first team.
Once the last race has been run, guests will be taken back to Fratello’s Jesmond for a free glass ofChampagneand exclusive VIP offers to be used throughout the night. This includes 20% off food and drink at Fratello’s restaurant, plus reduced price cocktails in the adjoining Zio bar.
Simon Wright, Group Operations Food and Beverage Manager for Fratello’s said: “A day at the races is such an amazing occasion that we wanted to give race-goers the chance to really make the most of it.
“Northumberland Plate Day and Ladies Day are among the most popular fixtures in Newcastle Racecourse’s busy calendar and these packages will give everyone who attends the chance to begin and end their experience in absolute style.”
Fratello’s, owned and operated by the North East-based Cairn Group, opened in April 2011 following a multi-million pound refurbishment of the former Imperial Hotel. It is currently open daily for lunch and dinner, specialising in authentic Italian cuisine made from locally sourced and seasonal produce.
