Win tickets to Newcastle’s Cult Festival
North East music fans are in for a real treat as Cult Festival takes over Hoults Yard, Newcastle from Friday 6 – Sunday 8 July. The Festival will see over fifty bands perform over three stages as well as a celebration of cult movies, world food and real ale.
The festival will bring an expected 4,000 visitors to the city and generate over £250,000 for the local economy.
Bdaily has 10 pairs of tickets to give away to lucky readers. For your chance to get your hands on a pair, simply email enquiries@bdaily.co.uk with the subject line ’Cult Festival’ before the closing time of 4pm on Wednesday 4th July.
Friday night will be a celebration of all things Ska and will be headlined by the legendary Selecter. Saturday not only features the much-anticipated headline show from the iconic Fall, but will also see live sets from exciting and incredible new talents including Beth Jeans Houghton, King Charles, Sound of Guns and The Greeting Committee. Not forgetting one of the region’s finest festival bands B>E>A>K.
Sunday will take a more Pop/Indie feel with the Sunshine Underground and The Sensational Jake Bugg - currently selling out venues throughout the UK after his storming performance on Jools Holland recently.
“We urge all of the region’s people to get behind their musicians, have a great time and make some money for the local creative economy,” said North East gig promoter Steve Davis.
“Some unsung local artists will get their chance to shine with the big boys this weekend and l can’t wait.”
Weekend tickets are just £25 and day tickets are priced at £20 Saturday/£10 Sunday and can be purchased here.

- Lucky entrants can collect their tickets on the day(s) of the festival from the main entrance.
- The closing date for entries is Wednesday 4th July 2012 at 4pm.
- The draw will be made by the Bdaily team proceeding the closing date.
