Senior corporate lawyer joins Dickinson Dees

Shiv Sibal, senior associate with Pinsent Masons in Leeds, is joining Dickinson Dees as a partner.

Shiv will be joining the corporate team at Dickinson Dees in Leeds and is the latest in a number of high-profile appointments at the firm.

Shiv, who studied law at the University of Manchester, has a wealth of experience in the corporate world in Yorkshire. He has worked on a wide range of corporate finance transactions but specialises in public company work and has advised on flotations, takeovers, open offers, placings and rights issues.

In addition to his public company experience, Shiv has extensive experience of advising local, national and international public and private companies on their acquisitions and disposals, both domestic and cross-border.

John Marshall, the senior partner of Dickinson Dees, commented: “Shiv has an excellent reputation in his field and will be a key member of our hard-working and successful corporate department. Our corporate team is extremely strong and we are proud of the quality of the lawyers we have attracted in recent months.”

Shiv is due to join the firm in September.
