DDCA Keeping talent in the North East
DDCA are working hard to keep the creative talent in the North East with their very select team.
Danielle Dunn graduated from Northumbria University’s Fashion Marketing course ten years ago, after starting up DDCA in 2009 she now employs THREE recent graduates from the very same course.
Amy Thompson, Head of Digital, graduated the Fashion Marketing course in 2011, Kate Hall, Account Manager, graduated this summer and Hodda Khaliffa, Account Assistant, is due to graduate in 2013. All of the girls progressed to working for DDCA after completing a year long placement opportunity which the company offers through Northumbria University and Newcastle College.
DDCA work with a variety of clients both regional and national, specialising in online marketing and social media.
Danielle commented: “The talent in the North East is unbelievable. Although there are great opportunities in the South of England it seems a shame that a lot of our students end up going down there. The design and marketing industry in the North East is very strong, and we need to keep the talent in the North if we are going to continue to compete with the rest of the country.”
DDCA currently have 2 placement students currently in the office, and who knows, they may make it as future employees.
