Golf day to raise money for local charity

A North East HR Consultancy is holding its first ever golf day to help raise money for a local charity.

We do HR Limited, based inDarlington, has arranged the fund raising event at Rockliffe Hall Golf Resort on Tuesday, August 7 in aid of Butterwick Hospice.

The Company is inviting businesses and individuals to take part in the event, which will start at 9am with refreshments and a networking opportunity, before the first tee-off begins at 11am.

There will be a variety of competitions for people to take part in, such as the longest drive and a “Beat the Pro” challenge and an opportunity for businesses to sponsor holes.

After the game, a two course dinner will be served at the presentation evening, where there will be prizes given to the best team and a raffle to raise money for Butterwick Hospice.

The Hospice aims to improve the quality of life for those with a life limiting illness. It currently cares for up to 200 patients, providing free help and support to them and their loved ones.

“I thoroughly enjoy playing golf and it will be a great day for everybody to come together and raise money for a worthy cause. I would recommend people to get their tickets now for this fantastic event.”
