CHARLES CHURCH OFFERS HOMEBUYERS HELPING HAND IN FAREHAM

One of Hampshire’s leading housebuilders has taken new steps to help people on to the property ladder at its development in Titchfield Common near Fareham.

Charles Church’s latest scheme allows first time buyers to move into properties at the Tanners Gate site with the stamp duty paid and freestanding appliances and carpets included for only a small reservation fee.

And the government-backed NewBuy and FirstBuy schemes are also available on the site to help buyers who don’t have a large deposit to put down on a mortgage.

One couple who have just moved on to Tanners Gate Jenni Hill and Paul Ellis, both 24, said they would not have been able to afford their £250,000 first home without the FirstBuy scheme.

“We didn’t really know what we would be able to buy but with help from Charles Church staff and their recommended advisors we instantly got an answer about what we could afford with the FirstBuy scheme,” said Jenni.

“We went from going in to having a look around to moving in the space of two months,” said Paul.

Charles Church also offers a Part Exchange Plus service which is designed to help people move quickly and easily.

Tracey added: “Part Exchange Plus is where we buy in a purchaser’s property and they then buy one of our new homes. It’s hassle-free and a very popular option for purchasers.”
