Dentist Direct celebrates Colchester launch success

National firm Dentist Direct is celebrating after successfully launching a new practice that heralds the introduction of drill-free dentistry in Colchester.

A significant number of people attended the family open day at Dentist Direct’s new Colchester practice, where Britain’s Got Talent stars Twist & Pulse marked the launch with a dance performance after opening the doors to the new spa-like facilities.

The event also featured a host of children’s entertainers and a performance by local 12-year old musician Rhys Butterworth-Bowman – whose first single has made it onto iTunes – as well as an on-stage dance competition which featured some of the best talent from the area.

Dance troupe Temptation was announced the overall winner of the contest after showing off an impressive dance routine. The group was awarded £250 of JD Sports vouchers to celebrate their achievement.

Open day attendees were treated to a tour of the new facilities after principal dentist Dr Neel Sanghavi, who is heading the Colchester practice, was presented with the keys.

Following the tour, many people signed up to the practice on the day, having been wowed by the reasonable pricing and high-tech Waterlase technology.

The Waterlase removes the need for drills and needles in almost any dental procedure and – in most cases – is completely painless. It is expected to transform dentistry in the same way that laser eye technology has changed eye treatments.
