Rawlinsons accountants help farmers with taxing bureaucracy
The National Farmers Union (NFU) has contracted leading Peterborough accountants Rawlinsons to support struggling farmers through Government bureaucracy.
Rawlinsons will provide support through their specialist agricultural team working alongside the NFU to help farmers through compulsory online VAT returns and filing systems.
NFU recruited the accountants after farmers without the resources or know how required their support. Rawlinsons will also offer advice and information to farmers on payment and keep their returns up to date.
Rawlinsons partner, Colin Crowley commented: ““The new rules governing online filing have been giving many farmers cause for concern. As a result of this agreement, through the NFU we can now take on that responsibility for them, giving them peace of mind and freeing up valuable time.”
Ben Coates, NFU Services Manager, said:“Rawlinsons ensure the VAT return filing service is very straightforward to use and provide our members with a convenient way of meeting new online filing obligations. The Service is particularly helpful for our members who do not have easy access to a computer or a reliable internet connection”
