Deloitte report successful year in North West
Deloitte’s North West operation has reported a 2% rise in revenue to £123m for the year to May 31.
Growth was driven by an increase in fee income across tax, audit, corporate finance and consulting.

Several significant deals, including FSM’s exit of travel management company VIA Travel, and UTC’s sale of Learn Direct to LDC, involved the expertise of Deloitte’s corporate finance team.
Drivers Jonas Deloitte was involved in advising on Airport City Enterprise Zone, ITV’s Quay Street site in Manchester and the new strategic investment framework for Liverpool city centre.
Patrick Loftus, practice senior partner at Deloitte’s North West business, said: “This is another robust performance in what continues to be an uncertain economic environment. All areas of the practice are demonstrating growth and we remain committed to working with our strong and ambitious client base in the region.
“As a business leader, I look at the role we can play in driving economic growth and rebuilding economic prosperity across the region. Investing in skills and talent is a signal of confidence, and critical to supporting our clients at a time when the outlook for all businesses remains challenging.
“We will continue to build for the future, recruiting more than 60 entry-level roles for graduates, university students and school leavers in 2012.”
The North West division has promoted seven new directors including: Andy Beavers, Indirect Tax Consulting; Helen Clayton, Audit, Entrepreneurial Business; Tim Davis, Consulting, Enterprise Applications; Lyndsey Gregory, Financial Services, Audit; Richard Ibbett, Corporate Finance Advisory; Josephine Lunt, National Professional Standards review team and North West Audit; and Steve Rourke, North Indirect Tax Consulting.
