Graham helps businesses become fighting fit
A local businessman has launched a new healthy lifestyle venture to improve productivity within North East workforces.
Teessider Graham Prior is looking to transform lethargic, tired workforces into more energetic, productive and healthy staff by raising awareness of nutrition, fitness and wellbeing at work.
His venture, Graham Prior Healthy Lifestyle, aims to help employees have more vitality, higher levels concentration and productivity, and to be more aware of their nutritional requirements whilst in the workplace.
The Billingham entrepreneur said: “I’m really excited to be launching my business as I am incredibly passionate about improving the health and fitness of workforces within local businesses and the Teesside community.
“A healthy lifestyle in business benefits everyone – employees have more energy and concentration and employers gain the benefit of this in the work their staff undertake. It is also about support which the business and colleagues can provide to each other and this culture of a healthier lifestyle can then be extended into the home environment and particularly the younger generations.”
Busy managing director of Innov8 Disposal, Louise Moore, noticed her health and diet was suffering due to her demanding work schedule. After contacting Graham Prior Healthy Lifestyle she received advice and support on the benefits of incorporating a balanced lifestyle into her business.
Louise said: “Through the demands of running a business, my fitness and nutrition had taken a negative turn. Graham enabled me to regain energy and improve my concentration and productivity and learn how to ensure I’m getting the nutrition my body needs despite the pressures of working long hours.
“This service is essential to businesses as it improves the overall health and wellbeing of employees which can lead to a positive impact on how staff will perform at work.”
Graham caught the healthy living bug after completing a 12-week community weight loss challenge during which he lost 45lbs and became a keen runner in the process.
He is now an independent distributor of Herbalife health and wellbeing products, which he will be recommending to local businesses as part of his company’s work with staff in the region.
The weight loss and nutritional products will support Graham’s clients as he guides them towards a healthier, more active lifestyle at work and at home.
