SenseLogix energy solutions receive £1m investment
Cheshire-based energy solutions outfit SenseLogix have secured a £1m investment, during the second round of funding from the North West Fund for Energy and Environmental.
The fund managed by CT Investment Partners will be used to advance commercialisation of the firm’s technology, boost sales and support technical and customer service teams.
SenseLogix are a small business employing 10 staff that works with commercial firms, education and the public sector to provide low carbon technologies.
Currently based in Denbighshire in Wales, the company hope to use the £1m fund to establish a new headquarters in Cheshire and expand their workforce to over 45 employees in the next three years, as the business expands.
Jonathan Luke, chief executive and co-founder of SenseLogix, said: “ We aim to continue our success in the emerging energy services sector by providing robust, intuitive and cost-effective energy management solutions for building users.“
“These new funds will also enable us to strengthen our service partner framework and support expansion into new territories.”
SenseLogix offer energy reduction solutions to firms using software, control systems, energy reporting tools and computer power management systems.
Adam Workman, partner at CT Investment Partners and fund manager of The North West Fund for Energy and Environmental, said: “We are really pleased to be working with SenseLogix.
“With a dramatic increase in global demand for energy and a government focus on reducing carbon emissions there is a large market pull to produce more sustainable, energy saving technologies.”
The North West Fund was established to provide debt and equity to SMEs with the region, and has given more than £29m to over 100 businesses since December 2010.
