North East firm joins forces with global communication
A North East telecommunications firm has been accredited as a direct Business Partner with global communication company NEC.
Yarm-based Synergy Telecoms has partnered up with NEC, the world leader in business communications, to provide the Company with a wide range of telecommunications solutions.
The partnership means that Synergy Telecoms’ portfolio now covers digital/hybrid and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems from NEC, Mitel, Panasonic and Cisco. The Company’s strong IT skill set has also allowed it to embrace solutions such as Microsoft Lync.
Synergy Telecoms is now taking on a number of apprentices who will receive technical training on various NEC platforms to help keep up with increasing business demands as a result of the partnership. The Company is also looking to add to its personnel team within the year.
Synergy Telecoms was approached for help in maintaining and supporting NEC systems at the same time that it was looking to partner with a leading market communications manufacturer to increase its existing portfolio.
Paul Alsop, managing director at Synergy Telecoms, said: “I’m delighted that this relationship is in place. NEC’s strong system portfolio helped us complete an all-encompassing offering to our customers and we can now provide a one stop solution for voice and IT systems and support.
“Right now businesses are looking at reducing costs, new technology and increasing their mobility communications for more flexible working. NEC enables us to achieve this.
“This direct relationship also allows us to plan early for emerging technologies and enables us know in advance about any new products and services from one of the largest manufacturers in the world.”
NEC’s major operations cover the areas of IT solutions, carrier network, social infrastructure and personal solutions. The Company is dedicated to providing its customers with world-class products and a dependable follow-up service.
Andrew Cooper, sales director at NEC, said: “We are delighted to welcome Synergy Telecoms on board. With over 23 years’ experience in IT, telecoms and networks, they are ideally placed to provide cutting edge Unified Communication solutions. Their consultative approach with customers sets them apart.”
Synergy Telecoms specialises in providing IP-based telephone systems and solutions, remote working low-cost calls and low-cost line rental, and business mobile communications to help clients keep in touch with their offices.
