Morgan Sindall win £7.8m deals in Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes will benefit from renovations from construction and infrastructure firm Morgan Sindall, after the company won four projects since July 2011.

Contracts with educational organisations in the public sector have been secured up to a value of £7.8m, after the business was chosen by the Milton Keynes Council to build four primary schools in the area.

A £1.8m deal to extend Brooklands Primary School, and a contract of the same price to construct a new school in Eaglestone have been confirmed, while a £2.5m transaction to build on St Paul’s Catholic Primary in Leadenhall and a £1.7m win for special needs school White Spire in Bletchley were also secured.

The deals were won through the Milton Keynes Framework, which offers clear and efficient ways to provide construction projects in the area for a four-year period.

Projects over £2.5m are available for bidding to companies involved in the framework, while programmes worth between £350, 000 are £2.5m are also in the offering.
