Manchester-based CDL to create jobs with £20m investment
Investment from insurance software firm CDL will create 150 jobs at its headquarters in Stockport, as the company expands its current base by 4.5 acres.
The Manchester-based firm has invested £20m in new buildings, and has plans to build around 100,000 sq ft of offices, to enable the business to add to its already 400 strong workforce.
Construction is set to begin on the first 30,000 sq ft phase early in 2013, and CDL hope to bring its workforce up to 550 people in the next three years.
Expansion of the firm’s Kings Reach site will aid the creation of IT jobs in the Manchester area, after the company reported a £2m rise in turnover to £25m in 2011.

CDL is a family run business established as ‘Cheshire Datasystems Ltd’ 35 years ago by Tom and Jessica Hogg in 1987.
