Bignall Group gives Oktoberfest highest recommendation
The Bignall Group in Shildon is a family run engineering company which has been operating in both UK and international markets for more than 30 years. Its work applies world class standards to engineering, manufacturing, product development, innovation and customer service. At Oktoberfest 2012, it will be highlighting the expertise of its sub contract precision engineering services – Shildon Manufacturing Company (SMC).
The company, awarded the title Best Engineering & Manufacturing Business 2011 by the South Durham Business Network, brings a wealth of experience to Oktoberfest 2012, having exhibited for the past three years. For John Bignall, the event offers a wonderful opportunity for networking, meeting new customers and building on existing contacts. He said: “I would recommend Oktoberfest based on attending as an exhibitor and as an active member of the South Durham Engineering and Manufacturing Forum. It allows us to invite existing customers to the event and potentially discuss further and future business opportunities.
“Last year, we made quite a number of new contacts and re-established existing ones. The event was well supported by exhibitors, buyers and visitors. The venue and administration was excellent and the general view was very positive, with an active impression of manufacturing and engineering business in Durham and the North East”
“We are exhibiting again because we want to continue our strategy of active promotion in the North East engineering sector. Last year, we met with two companies through ‘Meet the Buyer’ and will arrange appointments through that again this year.
The Bignall Group is based at Unit 15, Dabble Duck Industrial Estate, Shildon, County Durham, DL4 2QN. Telephone: 01388 775584 or visit www.bignall.co.uk.
