Event specialist Dine launches expert consultancy service
Leading events and hospitality specialist, Dine, has this week launched an exclusive consultancy service to help owners of historic and commercial properties across the UK to maximise their business potential.
Dine has an excellent track record of working in partnership with landmark companies and venues to enhance their offer. Following the success of projects run for The National Trust, BNP Paribas and Sarah Beeny’s Rise Hall, Dine wanted to create a bespoke solution for other such firms and properties.
A brand new offering from the award-winning Dine Group, the Dine Consultancy team of associates will use their decades of experience and industry knowledge to help transform the hospitality and events offering at hotels, stately homes and other commercial properties across the UK. The goal is to help them become more commercially attractive and profitable business ventures.
Dine Consultancy will provide a wide range of invaluable services including: advice on legal and financial structures, interior design, sales & marketing, operational restructuring, troubleshooting and management services, mentoring and training services, audits, brand reviews and advice on licensing.
Clients will benefit from Dine Consultancy’s network of some of the UK’s leading hospitality, business, financial, design and project management consultants to give expert advice and guidance.
Led by Dine’s Managing Director, Daniel Gill, the Dine Consultancy team includes Daniel’s father, Michael Gill, who ran nationally acclaimed Leeds restaurant Pool Court for over 40 years. The team also comprises Nicholas Rettie, former Managing Director of the Great Eastern Hotel in London and founder of hotel management company, MRMD and Phil Nuttall, CEO of national chartered accountants, Montpelier.
The introduction of Dine Consultancy follows Dine’s successful partnership with Rise Hall, Sarah Beeny’s listed property in East Yorkshire, which now offers itself to the weddings and events market. Dine helped Sarah launch Rise Hall as a venue by assisting with the design, marketing and sales process. Dine’s service also extended to conducting viewings of the property and looking after all of the events – this meant that Rise Hall simply had to concentrate on the main task of looking after the majestic 96 room building.
Owner of Rise Hall and Channel Four property expert, Sarah Beeny said:
“Rise Hall is one of the most significant houses in East Yorkshire, with over 96 rooms and striking classical features. Having embarked on a huge restoration programme, our next job was to ensure that our chosen venue consultants were able to provide the expertise and advice which we wanted. In being able to deliver this along with a complete sales, marketing, event management and catering service, Dine has become an invaluable part of the Rise Hall team.”
Daniel Gill, Managing Director of Dine, added:
“I am thrilled to have introduced Dine Consultancy to our portfolio of services. Turning a property into an event venue is a complex process and one that requires a number of experts in different fields to assist. We want to help venues and commercial properties along the way and ensure they are maximising both the quality of their offering and their profitability.
“Dine Group’s newest service will help us to meet our growth plans to reach £5m turnover by 2015.”
