Escape Christmas stresses with Rockliffe Hall

Rockliffe Hall’s award winning spa is giving people the chance to relax and unwind before the busy Christmas period with some special spa events.

The new ‘Shared Moments’ spa day* offers two friends the chance to enjoy a day at Rockliffe Hall with use of the spa and wellness facilities, a two course lunch for two in the prestigious Brasserie by Atkinson and the choice of one 90 minute treatment or two 45 minute treatments.

Rockliffe Hall offers a wide range of signature treatments- developed exclusively for the 5* resort, including: -

Splendour - a face and body treatment to re-energise the senses and create a radiant glow on the skin from top-to-toe, using delicate rice particles to fully exfoliate the body prior to a relaxing facial which includes a 20 minute scalp and face massage.

Body Bliss- a head to toe body treatment starting with an ayurvedic Indian Head massage followed by a Chakra-balancing back massage with hot poultices and completed with a therapeutic foot ritual.

Red Carpet Facial- the ultimate preparation for a special event providing a radiance enhancing face and hand treatment ritual developed exclusively for Rockliffe Hall by Murad which includes a resurgence facial using a specially-created face firming massage and intensive hand renewal treatment.

As well as the Shared Moments spa day, Rockliffe Hall will again be joined by celebrity make-up artist, Daniel Sandler, for a VIP make-up master-class on 15thNovember**.

Daniel Sandler is one of the UK’s most successful make-up artists, working with celebrities including Nell McAndrew, Davina McCall and Claudia Winkelman, and holds regular workshops and advice sessions at Rockliffe Hall.

At this master-class, Daniel will be offering advice and tips on the trends for the festive season. The event includes canapés and fizz on arrival and a two course meal.

As well as having over 20 years’ experience in the industry, Daniel has his own award-winning make-up range stocked at exclusive stores, including the The Spa Boutique at Rockliffe Hall, and regularly hosts events at some of the UK’s top spas, such as Urban Retreat at Harrods.

In addition to Daniel Sandler’s make-up range, The Spa Boutique sells a range of brands including Miller Harris- one of the UK’s most exclusive perfumers, Comfort Zone, Murad and Leighton Denny nail treatments and colours.

Spa director, Liz Holmes, said: “Christmas should be about spending time with friends and family, relaxing and having a good time but all too often this gets lost in the stresses and strains in the run up to the festive season. That’s why we’ve got these special events to give people the chance to set time aside to switch off in style.”
