Property expert launches new business venture

Property developer and entrepreneur, James Chapple, has launched a new business venture after recognising a niche in the market for high-end bespoke design and construction management services. Chapple hopes to take advantage of a trend of home-owners renovating their existing homes rather than relocating.

The new business venture, James Chapple Architectural Design, has been set up to specifically target busy, discerning professionals who require complete project management capability on residential property alterations and new builds.

James commented: ‘What really makes us different is how we take care of every aspect of a client’s project from the initial consultation through to the planning phases and completion, our dedicated team always goes the extra mile to take away the stress often associated with such projects.’

Since relocating from London to the Northumberland coast in 2006 James has worked extensively throughout Northumberland on a wide variety of residential projects including luxury barn conversions, period home renovations, refurbishments, flood and fire damage rectification work and extensions.

James’ most recent project was the conversion of a Victorian stone built house in Alnmouth, which entailed adapting the ground floor specifically for the needs of an elderly client, whilst completely remodelling the first floor and second floors to create a luxury four bedroom flat, that retains its original features whilst providing stylish contemporary living space.

James commented: ‘Due to my background working in the prime London property market, where square foot prices are amongst the highest in the world, I have gained significant experience in maximising every square foot of a property. This gives me a competitive advantage, both generating added revenue for our clients and delivering excellent value for money. Our latest project in Alnmouth is a perfect example of what we are all about, tailor made space to meet client’s specific needs whilst maximising return on investment.’

James has appointed two new members of staff, a Chartered Architect, John Mcaskie and an Office Manager, Marian White, who will assist the growing business in delivering a high quality service to its clients. The company also uses a team of highly skilled local tradesmen.

James commented: ‘With a newly appointed team onboard we are now expanding into new markets. We have recently been appointed on new projects in Morpeth and Jesmond where we are looking to increase our clientele. We are looking forward to a busy and exciting 2013.’
