Can you believe it’s that time of year again?! With winter well and truly here, holidays and New Year to look forward to, it is certainly gearing up to be a busy time.

So we hope our daily ’12 Tips of Christmas’ make it that little bit easier and also helps you to make the most of the brand new start of another year – happy holidays!

Tip 5: It’s party time! But remember that if you are having a ‘work do’ it is still technically classed as a work-related activity and so should be governed by a standards policy, just as much as other aspects of the workplace are.

Both employer responsibility and employee behaviour standards should be outlined before the event, along with any consequences should anything untoward occur.
