An inspiring talk from a master
AN entrepreneur who has cleaned up to create his very own ‘rags to riches’ story has been helping to inspire business students at Sunderland College.
Peter Rea delivered a master class to the students enrolled at the College’s Peter Jones Enterprise Academy.
The talk focussed on being positive and having the ‘desire to aspire’ – and gave just the messages young people on the brink of a career need to hear.
Students were able to quiz Peter about his own success after reading all about how he netted his Kleeneze team £9.7 million in 36 months in recent media coverage.
“It is a fascinating story and the networking marketing principle used is an intriguing concept.
“The students were really engaged and interested to learn more – hopefully some of the students in the audience will be able to tell similar stories to future generations in years to come.
“The master class is exactly the kind of quality event that students here can expect to be involved with as part of their courses here,” said Andrea Chalk, Curriculum Leader, Business and Law.
PJEA student Aaron Little, won a copy of Peter’s book “One shot, one life” – which he read straightaway. He said: “I really enjoyed it. It’s not dressed up in anyway and is really down to earth. It really is an entrepreneur’s bible!”
