Accountancy practice recognised at national awards
A fast-growing North East accountancy firm has been named runner-up for two major industry accolades.
Evolution LLP, based in the Tees Valley, was in the running to be crowned Independent Firm of the Year (North England) and Employer of the Year at the prestigious British Accountancy Awards 2012.
Evolution was placed second in the Employer of the Year Award category which recognised the firm for working with the interests of its staff in mind – providing them with the very best conditions and taking on board their suggestions for improving team communication.
Meanwhile, the firm was shortlisted for the Independent Firm of the Year Award category for delivering exceptional service and value to its clients.
10 team members from Evolution attended the British Accountancy Awards ceremony at Old Billingsgate Market in London.
Managing partner Martin Barber said: “It’s fantastic to have been ranked second for the Employer of the Year Award, even though we didn’t win, it drives us to continue performing to the best of our ability for the benefit of our customers and staff.
“The venue for the awards was great and the event itself was a chance to reward some of our hard-working team members with a party in London. We will definitely consider entering and supporting these awards again.”
Evolution’s achievements within the British Accountancy Awards come after the firm was crowned Independent Firm of the Year at the North East Accountancy Awards earlier this year.
Evolution continually works to develop the standard and range of its services, with the aim of providing the best level of service to all of its clients.
