Onestop takes space at Viewley Centre, Middlesbrough
Joint agents @Retail and JK Property Consultants, acting on behalf of Middlesborough City Council, have let 3,000sq.ft. to the national convenience store retailer Onestop.
The Viewley Centre, which is located to the south of Middlesbrough city centre, provides local retail accommodation for the area of Hemlington.
Kevan Carrick, principal of JK Property Consultants, said: “Agreeing terms with Onestop to move into the Viewley Centre is a very positive development for the local community as the business is committed providing local residents with an excellent service.
“Local shopping provisions have been dealt a serious blow through the recession and it is important for the economy and local communities that people continue to have the choice to shop locally for a wide range of products and services.” Further accommodation is available at The Viewley Centre and is being offered to let at just £10 per square foot. A number of enquiries have already been received.
Ian Thurlbeck from @Retail commented: “The Viewley Centre offers some great opportunities for local entrepreneurs and with the interest currently being experienced, we are confident the remaining space will be let in the near future.”
