Ringtons secures contract to supply iconic visitor attractions

Ringtons Beverages will be helping to warm the hearts of visitors to two of the North East’s most popular visitor attractions this winter.

Ringtons Beverages, the food service division of Ringtons, has been awarded the contract to supply tea, coffee and hot chocolate to The Alnwick Garden and AlnwickCastle.

Visitors to the world’s most contemporary garden and one of Europe’s most iconic castles will now be able to take a break from exploring to enjoy a fresh, high-quality hot drink from Ringtons.

As part of the contract Ringtons Beverages will supply its premium tea and coffee products – all of which are roasted, brewed and packed at the firm’s Newcastle-based manufacturing plant – to the attractions, which host in excess of 260,000 visitors annually.

Stephen Drysdale, head of department at Ringtons Beverages, said: “The AlnwickGarden and AlnwickCastle are two of the North East’s most iconic visitor attractions. As an established North East-based company, this is a major contract for us and we are delighted to be able to add the venues to our portfolio of clients.”

The AlnwickGarden and Castle commercial director, David Hawke added: “The AlnwickGarden is committed to supporting the region’s food and beverage manufacturers and where possible all products served in the Pavilion Café are locally-sourced. Ringtons is renowned for the quality of its products and as a local supplier of tea and coffee, which has been based in the region for over 100 years, we are pleased to announce the company as a supplier.”

Ringtons Beverages specialises in supplying restaurants, coffee shops, offices, hotels, department stores, bakeries and gyms located throughout the UK with some of the freshest and highest quality tea and coffee. It provides clients with a comprehensive service ranging from equipment and training through to products and support.

As the business blends and packs within its own UK-based factory it is able to offer customers a detailed insight into the sourcing, blending, roasting and packaging of its products.
