Roomzzz hotels announce North West expansion plans
Expansion plans in the North West have been released by successful Yorkshire based-hotel firm Roomzzz Aparthotel.
Liverpool and Chester will be home to new luxury developments, while in Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester, Roomzzz’ total number of apartments, studios and suites will be brought up to 276 by the end of 2013.
After a new £6m development in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, the firm also opened a new site in Manchester in December after the company achieved an average 87% occupancy throughout the year.
The business said its franchise strategy was to attract investors into a brand with a strong track record of growth, and this tactic had been a fundamental part of the brand’s success.
Mark Walton, head of the company, said “consistency, service and location” were also key to the business’ strength.
He added: “The Roomzzz brand is making unashamed progress in the industry, we’re keeping our heads in terms of offering and giving our customers exactly what they come to us for which is impeccable hospitality in key locations for a price that makes sense whatever your reasons are for travelling.
“To illustrate this Newcastle City - the brand’s latest opening hit the number 1 spot on Trip Advisor for hotels in Newcastle in under 4 weeks.”
Plans for new sites in Chester and Liverpool are still being kept under wraps, and details will soon be announced.
Mr Walton concluded: “It’s an exciting and profitable time for us and we are focused on making our mark in innovation and more new openings over the next 12 months.”
