Burnley Council Share Investors in People Experience
Burnley Council, an Investors in People Champion, has shared their experience of the framework and the benefits they have achieved in a new case study released today.
Explaining how they came to work with Investors in People, Burnley Council’s case study explores how the framework has helped them to focus on their objectives and also foster a learning culture.
The case study also explains how the Council has developed an Internal Review team to support their work with Investors in People and provide further opportunities for continuous improvement which has also helped them to achieve the Health & Wellbeing Good Practice Award.
“The wider Investors in People framework is a great tool to identify strengths and areas for development and has enabled us to make a step change in how we deliver, recognise and measure our people practices… Commitment to [the framework] in such austere times is a conscious strategic decision and demonstration of our continuous support to employees through the manychanges they face.“
