NE car dealerships strike gold again

Simon Bailes Peugeot has proved it is the North East’s leading Peugeot dealership after notching up another prestigious award.

The business, which has sites in Northallerton, Guisborough and Stockton-on-Tees, has become the most accredited Peugeot dealership in the UK having received its nineteenth Guild of Gold Lion accolade.

Simon Bailes Peugeot was honoured in recognition of the company’s strong performance throughout 2012 despite difficult trading conditions.

Peugeot HQ awards its Gold Lions to businesses providing the very highest standards in sales, service and customer satisfaction and for being the best-performing Peugeot dealerships in the UK.

Peugeot nationally praised Simon Bailes Peugeot for achieving outstanding sales despite harsh economic conditions, exceptional levels of service, the highest customer satisfaction feedback and good product availability.

The Guild of Gold Lion award is only presented to the top dealerships in the UK meeting a number of stringent criteria. These include measures that rate customer satisfaction, parts supply, levels of sales and service and the profitability of the network to determine success.

The award follows a successful year of new product launches for Simon Bailes, including the Auto Express New Car Award winner 2012 - the Peugeot 208 – and the award winning Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4, the world’s first diesel hybrid car.

Simon Bailes has also been chosen by Peugeot to help launch the newly restyled Peugeot RCZ sports coupé, the first of many new car launches in 2013.

The prestigious award was presented in front of the network of over 240 dealers at the National Peugeot Dealer Conference.
