Tradedoubler secures exclusive deal with Lufthansa
Tradedoubler, the international performance marketing and technology company, is extending its strategic and international relationship with Lufthansa, Europe’s largest airline, to launch high quality affiliate programmes in the Nordics, Austria and Switzerland as well as Lufthansa’s important home market of Germany.
The agreement follows Tradedoubler’s success in managing Lufthansa’s affiliate programmes in the UK, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Poland. Tradedoubler worked closely as a partner of Lufthansa’s affiliate marketing agency, metaapes, which brokered the original strategic affiliate marketing deal for Lufthansa with Tradedoubler in the UK, Italy and Poland.
Julius Ewig, Head of Affiliate-Marketing, metaapes says: “We have a long and successful partnership with Tradedoubler and so when Lufthansa asked us to expand its international affiliate programme, Tradedoubler was our first choice.”
Thorsten Asmussen, Manager Online Sales and Mobile Services, Lufthansa explains: “Lufthansa is a global airline, with powerful roots in its home market of Germany. For the extension of our affiliate programme we needed a partner who shared our international vision, but could also offer unrivalled local knowledge and expertise.”
Jon Lord, Group Director, International Sales and Client Development, Tradedoubler comments: “Lufthansa’s confidence in Tradedoubler is extremely gratifying and we’re especially excited about expanding the international reach of such a prestigious client through the metaapes agency. The travel industry has always been one of our strongest sectors and this is reflected in the success we’ve achieved with Lufthansa to date. The combination of our unique technology platform and high quality network standards, have proven to be extremely effective in increasing sales for the airline and we look forward to repeating this in the new markets.”
