Luxury fitness and lifestyle centre provides business therapy

Boutique gym Sound Mind and Body is giving a helping hand to budding health and well-being businesses by offering use of their in-house therapy rooms in 2013.

Business has been booming since the fitness and lifestyle centre opened in Newcastle 18 months ago, and now Sound Mind and Body is looking to extend the luxury services already offered to its clients by opening up its six therapy rooms to more industry professionals.

The luxury wellness centre provides a one-stop shop for health and fitness with services including a personal training gym and classes, nutritional therapists, car valet, hairdressers, beauty therapists, masseurs and physiotherapists amongst others.

The Sound Mind and Body treatment rooms are all fully serviced with clean towels, sinks, and are beautifully appointed with tented ceilings and chandeliers, while a concierge is on hand to greet clients and a cleaning service is also available on request to ensure a hassle-free departure for therapists.

Professionals and their clients will have the use of free onsite car parking facilities at Sound Mind and Body, while its location on Front Street in Benton provides excellent public transport links making services easily accessible for clients.

Dan Bowser, a sports masseur who regularly uses the fitness and lifestyle centre’s therapy rooms, said: “Renting the therapy rooms at Sound Mind and Body has been fantastic for my business. It’s great as there’s nothing extra to think about other than my client and their treatment – there are no long leases to worry about and I only pay for the rooms when I use them.

“Booking the rooms is easy and very convenient and the service offered by the Sound Mind and Body team and the standard of cleanliness in the therapy rooms is always excellent.”
