Renewable energy frontrunner appoints first Ambassador
One of the UK’s leading renewable heating specialists has appointed its first Ambassador as part of an innovative project to recognise the leading faces of its brand.
Organic Energy, which was one of the first companies to introduce low carbon heating technology to the UK, has brought Carnforn-based Martin Robinson on board to be it’s representative in the north of England.
Mr Robinson has been chosen in recognition of his passion and commitment to the Organic Energy ethos of providing high quality green heating systems. Organic Energy is the UK’s sole distributor of the ÖkoFEN range of wood pellet boilers, regarded as the most advanced and efficient of their kind anywhere in the world.
The 35-year-old is the first Ambassador for Team Organic Energy, known as Team OE, a trusted network of approved installers and suppliers of Organic Energy’s ÖkoFEN products across the UK and Ireland. The Ambassador programme is a new venture for Organic Energy, part of a strategic expansion plan which has seen the company become a frontrunner in the renewables sector
As part of his new role, Mr Robinson will be involved in promoting the brand across Lancashire, Cumbria, County Durham, Northumberland and parts of North Yorkshire.
Managing director of Organic Energy, Andy Boroughs, said Mr Robinson was appointed because he shared the company’s passion for providing truly sustainable renewable energy sources and had demonstrated his commitment to Organic Energy and ÖkoFEN with some outstanding installations in recent months.
Mr Robinson, who is managing director of Lancashire-based approved installer Sustaburn, has worked with Organic Energy since 2008.
Mr Boroughs said: “We are delighted to appoint Martin as the first Ambassador for Team OE, in a role which will see him advocate not only the ÖkoFEN products which we supply but also the reasons why we’re in the business we are in.
“Martin’s company has completed numerous installations of Organic Energy’s heating systems and all our customers are very satisfied with the product, the installation and the ongoing customer service. That is a phenomenal achievement in any industry, and is a tribute not only to the product but importantly to Martin’s dedication and commitment.
“The Ambassador programme is an innovative way we can demonstrate to our clients and potential clients the reliability and efficiency not only of our products, but also the high-quality of customer-service which lies behind every installation. In the same way that the relationship between Mr Robinson and Organic Energy has developed, this same long-term partnership applies to each and every one of our boiler owners. That’s why, in a way, every single boiler owner is a member of Team OE, advocating for us in their communities.”
Mr Robinson said: “Like many installers across the country, being a part of Team OE has meant receiving real support from Organic Energy while being able to share knowledge and experience about our industry. I’m delighted to have been appointed the company’s first Ambassador, which will assist in building and supporting a network of Organic Energy approved installers across the north of England.
“In the last five years, I’ve worked very closely with Organic Energy, which offers highly advanced technical training as well as comprehensive support for members of Team OE. I’m looking forward to my new role within that team of like-minded individuals who aren’t just installing boilers but have a real enthusiasm for helping customers reduce both their carbon footprint and their energy costs.”
As part of his new role, Mr Robinson will be assisting and supporting companies and sole-traders considering offering Organic Energy’s ÖkoFEN range to customers as well as being involved in promoting the brand across Lancashire, Cumbria, County Durham, Northumberland and parts of North Yorkshire.
