Enelco Appoints New Managing Director

South West construction and maintenance company Enelco has appointed an experienced industry expert to lead its business into continued growth.

John Hargreaves, who most recently led national operations roles for UK construction and FM service organisations, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the Newton Abbot firm.

Enelco employs 45 office and site staff, with a turnover of around £6.5 million. The company provides a range of services, from general construction and maintenance, to groundwork and fire protection work.

John has a wealth of experience across the industry, including holding directorships at national and PLC businesses since 1997. He has also worked as a business consultant, providing executive operations management to services organisations.

He has also led significant business change, helping major organisations to develop and strengthen their operations and services.

John said: “Joining Enelco is an exciting opportunity to lead a strong business with realistic potential for growth. We have a solid team here, and I believe the external economic conditions are becoming more favourable to building upon what has already been achieved.”
