First Turkish Restaurant for Harrogate
CBRE’s Pubs & Leisure team, acting on behalf a private landlord, has agreed a new letting at the former Sage Bistro on Mount Parade in Harrogate for the creation of the town’s first Turkish restaurant. The new restaurant will be called KONAK MEZE.
A professional couple, with business expertise and a passion for authentic Turkish food, are said to be managing the restaurant which will bring a new cuisine to the people of Harrogate and its surrounding areas.
The attractive stone property, which is located just a short distance from Harrogate’s Conference Centre and Theatre, will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment programme and will re-open for business in April 2013.
Sam Frankland, Director at CBRE’s Leeds office, commented; “Our client is extremely excited that we have found experienced business people to create and open this new venture. We are confident that it will be a success, offering something new and fresh to the Harrogate dining market.”
Following their letting of the former Claret restaurant, this is the second restaurant that the CBRE team has let in Harrogate in two months demonstrating their detailed knowledge and contacts in this specialist market.
