European Healthyards apply for ASME approval

West Midlands-based European Healthyards, a firm that makes pressure vessels, has applied for U Stamp accreditation from the American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

The ASME U Stamp is a widely recognised certification that will strengthen the firm’s reputation as a provider of a quality product.

According to European Healthyards director, Arran Nash, the accreditation process will take around six months to complete, and the business will have to raise a £30, 000 investment to gain the certification.

The firm has experience of operating under a stringent quality control manufacturing system, which has been tailored to fit in with ASME requirements, and also runs an approved and recognised management system.

To gain the ASME accreditation, the business will need to show where they source all their materials, while a final audit is expected in the summer to coincide with European Healthyards current order book.
