Sheffield firm wins prestigious industry award

The Sheffield office of Investec Wealth & Investment is celebrating winning the Regional Stars Award 2013 for the North by Citywire, one of the UK’s leading finance and investment publications.

The awards involved independent financial advisers across the region scoring wealth management firms in four categories: relationship management, investment outcomes, client reporting and efficiency of service.

Investec Wealth & Investment received the highest scores against stiff competition from other firms.

The team from Investec Wealth & Investment team received a plaque, which was presented at a prestigious event held at the Park Plaza Hotel in London.

Tom Street, executive director in charge of the Sheffield office of Investec Wealth & Investment, who collected the award, said: “It was a real honour to be nominated by our independent financial advisers for this prestigious regional award. We aim to deliver the highest quality service to our clients and are delighted that our efforts have been recognised in this way.”

Investec Wealth & Investment, which draws on the group-wide international capabilities and knowledge of its parent, international specialist bank and asset manager Investec plc, has a partnering relationship with a number of local Independent Financial Advisers, providing specialist investment management for their clients.

The company currently has nearly 1,000 staff located at its 15 offices throughout the UK.
