Ben Bailey Homes unveils new headquarters
Yorkshire housebuilder Ben Bailey Homes is celebrating the start of a new era after completing a move to a new head office at Calder Park, Wakefield.
Ben Bailey Homes’ requirement for new premises comes following rapid expansion of the business in 2012, which saw the housebuilder take on 20 new employees.
To accommodate the company’s larger staff numbers the business has relocated its operation from Doncaster to occupy a full 11,500 square foot unit on the popular business park.
A total of 100 staff are employed in the region by Ben Bailey Homes with 46 based at the new head office managing construction, land acquisition, technical, planning, finance, sales and marketing and customer care. The remaining 54 employees are based at development sites.
Ben Bailey Homes’ managing director, Mark Mitchell, said: “We’ve experienced considerable expansion in the last 12 months and are looking forward to building on this success even further in 2013. The relocation of our Yorkshire head office puts the company in an excellent position right in the heart of Yorkshire and allows easy access to all of our developments throughout the region whilst also providing room for further growth within the business.”
Ben Bailey Homes Yorkshire is an operating company of the Gladedale Group, one of the leading private developers of residential and commercial property in the UK.
In 2012 the company built 444 new homes across 15 sites in the region stretching from Sheffield to Leeds.
Current developments include the award-winning Chevin Park in Menston, Harvest View in Garforth, Leeds and Melton View in Mexborough, South Yorkshire.
