LDD launches new support division and expands team
Leeds-based IT specialist reseller LDD Group has launched a new service division to help clients control costs and focus on their core business.
LDD Support, which will be headed up by IT support specialist Dale Osborne, is designed to free organisations from the hassle and unexpected expense of IT issues by providing remote and on-site IT support.
Using industry leading management tools, LDD will offer ICT and infrastructure support and monitoring, virtualisation support, network security and disaster planning and recovery, alongside its existing hardware, connectivity and telecommunications offerings.
Dale, who joins LDD to lead the new division, has wide ranging experience in technical and IT services from his time with Maximia, Galtec Solutions and AAG Systems.
LDD Group sales director Mandi Iles said: “We have always offered our customers a degree of technical support as part of our commitment to them.
“But as we become ever more reliant on technology to keep business moving and the focus builds on ‘up-time’, we identified a need to offer a more wide-ranging service that enables companies to concentrate on their core activities without worrying about IT issues comprising their bottom line.
“LDD Support also allows businesses to more clearly manage their costs by providing a package of remote and on-site support and diagnosis for their entire network and portfolio of hardware, ensuring the continued availability of ICT and minimising disruption to business.
“We’re thrilled that Dale has joined the team, as he brings expertise in the Support arena and we know that customers, old and new are going to be delighted by the benefits offered by the new services.”
