NHS Trust moves to Liverpool Innovation Park
One of the North West’s largest NHS Trusts will relocate its headquarters to a green 30,000 sq ft office space at Liverpool Innovation Park on Edge Lane in Wavertree.
Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust (LCH) will move its head office and a number of other health services to the site, along with 400 staff from across Merseyside, to create a new integrated workspace.
The environmentally friendly site has been awarded a Gold Ska rating as the Trust invested in a range of sustainable products with a low carbon impact.
LCH delivers community based healthcare to more than 750,000 people across Merseyside, and hopes to be one of the first Community Foundation Trusts.
If they achieve this, it will mean the Trust will be more accountable to the local communities it serves.
LCH already has more than 5,000 public members who will help shape the way services are delivered across the county.
The relocation will enable members and future elected Governors of LCH to have their own space to meet and share ideas in the facilities, which the Trust said will support their ability to influence the future of healthcare services in the region.
Bernie Cuthel, chief executive of LCH, said: “Our decision to relocate to Liverpool Innovation Park was based largely on our drive to innovate and fully sustain our resources for the benefit of our patients, staff, volunteers and members.
“A huge and important organisational change is the move towards agile and flexible working. The state of the art facilities and prominent location at Liverpool Innovation Park will enable us to continue delivering high quality care for our communities.”
