Helping local hospice throughout May
Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors is asking people to make their will and help a vital local hospice at the same time.
Hartlepool Hospice’s annual ‘Make a Will Month’ will take place in May 2013, when Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors will invite anyone making or updating a will to make a donation to the charity instead of a paying the solicitor’s fee. Last year, Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors’ clients raised approximately 45% of the total sum, and Carolyn Tilly hopes the firm will be able to support the hospice similarly in 2013.
She commented: “Hartlepool Hospice is a wonderful facility that makes a real difference in the lives of local people when they need the support most. It’s important to us to be able to fundraise again with Make a Will Month throughout May.
“Making a will need not be complex, but it’s important that it is done properly. Make a Will Month is your opportunity to make sure your will is up to date, relevant and legal, and to support this vital local charity at the same time. Many people have already booked their appointments, and we look forward to raising plenty of money to support Hartlepool Hospice.”
Rebecca Jobson, Trust and Legacy Fundraiser for Hartlepool Hospice, added: “Each year, we’re grateful for the support of Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors and the kind donations of its clients. Again this year, we can guarantee that the funds raised will help the hospice provide palliative care to local people with life limiting illnesses, and support for their families too. Thank you in advance to everyone who chooses to make their will and help the hospice.”
