Arena Group ties up substantial property activity
Print and document solutions business Arena Group has completed the extensive expansion of its Garforth site, purchased a new property in Bolton and finalised plans to upgrade its head office facilities in Wakefield.
The recently completed extension of Arena’s training and distribution centre at Lotherton Business Park, Garforth, has doubled the size of the facility.
The site is home to Arena’s Apprentice Academy and workshop for service technicians, call centre, logistics and warehouse teams.
Arena Group’s new site purchase at Bolton sees the company’s North West workforce move into The Quad on Atherleigh Business Park.
The new 190 sq m of offices represents a substantial investment and provides Arena’s sales team with a brand new, state-of-the-art showroom to showcase the latest technology in print and document management.
Meanwhile, the Wakefield head office refurbishment will see office space re-arranged to make way for an additional 12 members of staff to join the company this year.
Arena Group managing director Adrian Fitzpatrick said: “It is essential we continue to invest in bricks and mortar as our facilities have a direct impact on the service we provide.
“As we forge ahead with our growth plans, we need to have the very best facilities to enable us to deliver on our promises and maintain our high service levels.”
Arena is a team of 150 staff spread across six UK sites and working with clients including Yorkshire Housing, Leeds Building Society, The Co-op, Lookers PLC and Bolton St Catherine’s Academy.
The property developments come on the back of a record year for Arena, which saw the business post a £17m turnover.
