High Street TV unveils two major appointments

High Street TV (HSTV), the leading multi-channel retailer based in Harrogate, has announced two new senior appointments.

Stephen McCreath becomes international director and Lisa Fawcett takes the role of product director, taking the company’s headcount to around 60.

McCreath will be responsible for developing and establishing HSTV’s new international division which will sell, market and licence the company’s owned product brand titles and self-produced DRTV infomercials to a global network of Live TV Home Shopping networks, retailers and distributors.

This includes products such as the successful steam-cleaning system, Little Yell-O. Currently, the company has secured distribution in approximately 80 countries.

Having spent 20 years within the industry, McCreath has held senior positions at some of the UK’s largest home shopping companies.

As product director, Fawcett will be supporting HSTV’s entire trading portfolio throughout the UK, as well as internationally, identifying and building new supplier opportunities and communicating the plans across the business.

She will also be responsible for adding to the company’s product portfolio, which includes Genie Bra, a product responsible for the sale of 50 million units worldwide and America’s best selling anti-blemish system, Proactiv Solution, which sold 2,500 units in its debut week in 88 Boots stores and has 15 million customers worldwide.

Commenting the appointments, Andrew Malcher, HSTV’s co-founder and executive chairman, said: “We are delighted that Stephen and Lisa have joined the company, in newly-created roles, which reflects our continued growth.

“They join at an exciting time when we are expanding into new markets, and where we are continually sourcing innovative products, so the experience and knowledge that they bring to their respective roles will underpin this.”
