Ultimate prize for TASTECLUB winner
One lucky member of TASTECLUB, the Club for everyone who makes, serves, sells and loves great north food and drink, has beaten 3,000 others to win an ultimate foodie prize.
The tasty prize, worth over £500, includes afternoon tea for two at Six at the Baltic; a cookery course at Blackfriars Restaurant; a £50 voucher for the Fenwick Food Hall; a hamper full of local produce from TASTECLUB and a meal cooked at the winner’s home by acclaimed local chef, David Kennedy.
Gayle Woodruffe was randomly selected as the winner after signing up to www.TASTECLUBHQ.com, which is free to join and gives the inside track on news, events and offers in the region. Consumers can also purchase exclusive products, gifts and experiences from the luxury online gift store, all made and finished in the great north.
Gayle, who works for Northern Film and Media as well as running a part time cake business, A Little Indulgence, said: “I’m a big fan of the region’s food and drink, so wanted to join TASTECLUB in order to support other producers and retailers.
“I can’t believe it’s all one prize but I’m delighted to have won, especially as it will run throughout the year. I’m particularly looking forward to having David Kennedy cook a meal at my house, and in the meantime am enjoying all the delicious food and drink in the hamper.”
Jane Hogan, Chief Executive of TASTECLUB, commented: “We had a fantastic response to this competition, and so many entries from lovers of great north food and drink, so we look forward to running more competitions in future.
“It’s great to have more and more consumers joining the Club – all of our prize draws, discounts and special offers are provided by and support the people who make, serve and sell our food and drink, which helps to keep the region’s food and drink sector strong and vibrant.”
