Hit corporate golf day teed-up
Teams are being invited to dust off their five-irons and take part in Coventry Sport Foundation’s annual golf day.
Businesses and other organisations are being invited to this year’s Foundation Open, which will be taking place at Brandon Wood Golf Course and Club, based in Wolston, Warwickshire on the outskirts of Coventry on Friday, May 24.
The tournament will follow a full handicap, Stableford format, with teams of four competing over 18 holes.
Andy Adkins, commercial manager at Coventry Sports Foundation, said: “We have already had a great deal of interest from teams looking to take and we accept entries from businesses, sports clubs or just groups of friends - mixed teams are equally welcome.
“The format of the tournament is designed to create a sociable and sporting atmosphere, as well as providing networking opportunities for businesses.
“The event has been very popular in the past and with the new location at Brandon Wood, we’re expecting another brilliant day of golf.”
The entry fee of £100 per team includes breakfast rolls and free use of the putting green, chipping area and driving range for the whole day.
In addition, each team that enters will receive a pack of three Srixon distance golf balls, a pitch repairer, plus a voucher which enables them to return to Brandon Wood and take a friend for free.
For more information, or to enter, visit Brandon Wood or contact Mark Cooke on 07894567081 or MCooke@covsf.com.
