Rural Solutions completes construction of landmark wedding venue
Following a six-month reconstruction and rebuild, Skipton-based Rural Solutions is pleased to announce The Granary Barns construction project in Woodditton, near Newmarket, is now complete.
In 2012, Rural Solutions began marketing its services in the South East and as a result, The Granary Estates in Woodditton approached the business to create a luxury event venue.
The company, which specialises in rural diversification, was commissioned last September to carefully renovate the disused farm buildings, The Granary Barns, into a luxurious wedding and event venue.
Construction manager Gail Culshaw expertly co-ordinated the team ensuring the renovations were completed to the highest standard and delivered on time.
The Barn’s renovation included external and internal refurbishment in keeping with the local vernacular of flint and brick.
Gail commented: “I am incredibly pleased with the work Rural Solutions has undertaken on The Granary Barns. We felt it was extremely important to remain true to the heritage of the building and maintain the existing infrastructure - a consideration Rural Solutions is renowned for.”
The Granary Barns wedding, party and conference venue can accommodate up to 240 guests with events already in the diary for this year and 2014.
Guy Taylor, director at The Granary Barns, said: “We are very proud to welcome guests to The Granary Barns. The buildings are stunning and we are delighted with the construction, attention to detail and professionalism that Rural Solutions brought to the project.”
