At The Car Wash

A vehicle orientated family fun day is set to take place at Newcastle Racecourse on Saturday, 25th May 2013 from 10am.

Hosted by new social networking site Carflash.com, the free event ‘At The Car Wash’ includes a car wash, face painters, stalls, sneak previews of the site, a chance to win a Ferrari track day and live music from a renowned Newcastle DJ.

Dedicated to connecting motor enthusiasts from around the world Carflash.com is the brain-child of North East businessman and owner of COMPUTER orBIT, Kasim Malik and it provides users with all the flexibility and functionality of a social networking site.

Supercar enthusiast Kasim Malik said: “We are putting on numerous events in the North East across the Bank Holiday weekend to officially launch the site in our home town. Even though we want the site to be an international success we would love it if the first members were from the North East.

“Summer is just around the corner so a lot of people who are into their cars will appreciate a professional car wash and encourage them to be proud of their cars. An event of this calibre seemed a perfect showcase to get like-minded people together and inform them of our new network.

“Carflash.com is a free digital platform for users to connect with people with similar interests, share motor-related images and videos, browse auto events and discuss their love of all things motor.

“As well as the car wash we will have live music, face painters, food & drink, demonstrations on how the site works and goody bags. Visitors will also get the chance to pose with their own car and a red Ferrari sports car, and be entered into a prize draw to win a Ferrari track day.

“We hope to see everyone who enjoys family-fun and has a passion for motors to come down and see what it is all about.”

Carflash.com already has a growing amount of members with the figure increasing daily. The free car wash event will be taking place at Newcastle Racecourse, Gosforth between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, 25th May 2013.
