Direct Save Telecom In Expansion Drive
Fast Growing telco continues to challenge the “big 4’s“ dominance as it opens two new offices in Slough and Croydon
Britain’s fastest growing low budget telecom provider Direct Save Telecom (www.directsavetelecom.co.uk) today announces the opening of two new regional sales offices to expand its customer base, offering them the most keenly priced home phone and broadband deal in the UK.
The two new offices have just opened in Slough and Croydon and will create around 60 new full-time sales jobs.
The opening of the new offices comes hot on the heels of Direct Save taking on 120 new staff in its Watford headquarters. The expansion is a direct result of the money conscious telecom taking on the big 4 by launching the cheapest home phone and broadband deal in the UK – only £2.49 a month.
Direct Save has recruited two experienced managers to run the new regional sales offices. Joe Sweeney will run the Slough office while Wayde Isaac will be based at Croydon. Both have been busy recruiting new staff since they started in April and have now officially opened the new offices. It is planned that around 30 staff will work in each office, with further expansion planned in conjunction with success.
Joe Sweeney has over 20 years of telecoms experience and has worked for the likes of the Yell Group, Domestic and General and Sony UK. He cites Direct Save’s ambitious growth plans as what attracted him to the job.
“I am excited to join the Direct Save Telecom team and to be in charge of opening the new Slough office. Direct Save have ambitious growth plans in place which will hopefully enable them to challenge the big 4 even more in the future and I’m delighted to be a part of this.
“As with everything the product is the key, and Direct Save Telecom really has a great product. We can save people money on their telecom bills and in this economic climate this is what users want to hear. We are battling against the likes of BT who throw millions of pounds at advertising, but once people realise that we use the same infrastructure but just save them money they are usually very receptive – why would you not be?”
Wayde Isaac, who has over 12 years of sales experience behind him, adds: “My target is to make Croydon a very functioning, targeted office and everything is going really well. I have taken on 10 full-time staff so far and hope that this will grow to 20 in the coming weeks. The whole team is just excited to get started as we really believe in what Direct Save is selling.”
Direct Save Telecom CEO, Stavros Tsolakis says: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our two new sales offices and envisage that this, in time, will lead to further growth. We have put no cap on the size of Joe and Wayde’s sales teams and have challenged them to show us what they can do – the sky is limit for them as far as I am concerned.”
