North West cheered for business park take-up
Business parks across Liverpool, Warrington and Manchester have seen significant take-up over the past five years, according to a report published by property adviser, GVA.
The North West has been recognised for its success alongside news that national take up of space in business parks has reached its highest point in half a decade.
Jonathan Walsh, managing director at MEPC Birchwood Park in Warrington, commented: “The findings of the report are welcome news for business parks in the North West. In Birchwood specifically, we have attracted number of new companies to Birchwood Park.
“Businesses today are looking for more than just a building which is why business parks are coming into their own.
“Connections to other businesses, networking opportunities and the opportunity to maintain a work life balance has helped to attract new businesses to Birchwood Park specifically.
“Businesses located in the North West and Birchwood area in particular have excellent links with major cities such as Manchester and Liverpool which have proven invaluable to businesses success.
“We have a number of nuclear and engineering companies based on the park and the transport networks make a huge difference to their businesses, whether it’s attracting and retaining new employees or increasing new businesses opportunities.
“The decision of Your Housing Group to build its new 35,000 sq ft head office at Birchwood Park was a direct result of the park’s wide range of on-site amenities, central location and our network of transport links to the rest of the North West.”
