ServerSpace powers Tech City with Super-fast fibre internet
With super-fast and reliable internet access rapidly becoming a crucial tool in supporting business growth, ServerSpace, the hosting and connectivity provider, today announced it has been chosen by Picton Property Income, an income focussed property investment company, to deliver a high-speed optical internet service to Picton’s Tech City-based Angel Gate Office Village.
A short walk from London’s ‘Silicon Roundabout’, The Angel Gate Office Village will be able to offer further services that include a permanent and affordable internet solution to over 40 occupying businesses in its 35 multi and single let buildings.
ServerSpace has moved its headquarters and established an on-site comms room within the 100,000 sq ft. campus to offer occupiers 24/7 technical support.
“Any business, whether large or small, needs high speed internet access to compete on a global scale,” said Tim Hamlin, asset manager at Picton. “Given Angel Gate’s proximity to London’s emerging Tech City, we wanted to be able to offer our occupiers the latest in on-site Internet services. We decided to appoint ServerSpace based on the company’s competitive terms, level of service and its solution’s consistent high levels of bandwidth and availability.”
Tim Pat Dufficy, managing director of ServerSpace, said: “Only three years ago, there were just 200 up-coming tech start-ups based in East London, now there are over 1,300 and all these organisations demand a high-speed reliable internet connection to conduct business. Super-fast connectivity can have a serious positive impact on the level of business performance. We are confident in offering Picton a flawless service that will deliver the best connection to its occupiers, and look forward to growing as they grow.”
