Lingfield Point scores 100% in perception survey
Happiness has been one of the hot topics on the Government?s agenda ? with contentment at work being highlighted as key to productivity.
Now an independent perception survey carried out at Lingfield Point, Darlington, has awarded the business park ? where 2,500 people work each day ? a massive smiley face!
All of those who took part rated their overall satisfaction as good or excellent - and 100% would recommend Lingfield Point and owners Marchday to others looking for business premises.
Customers based at the award-winning park were asked to rate it on a range of factors and everything from the quality of on-site facilities such as the café, child care nursery, concierge service, location and public transport links came under the microscope.
The research concluded that key stakeholders see Lingfield as an integral part of the town?s future growth, and that business holders love the approach being taken on the fun and quirky business park.
Matt Waistell, of the Student Loans Company, said staff were very approachable. ?They are very lucky to have the people they have got, they put you at ease straightaway and that standard never slips.?
Transport links, were also praised with John Borthwick, of Fifteen Digital, saying: ?The new cross town road cuts off 15 minutes? drive, stopping a short drive from becoming a commute.?
Eddie Humphries, Estate Manager, said: ?The results are validation of the approach we are taking at Lingfield Point.
?We offer more than just offices space - we offer a way of life ? which this survey shows is much appreciated by our customers.
?Not only has this piece of research identified the areas where we perform exceptionally well but it has also identified areas where we can improve even further, and it?s those areas where we will increase our focus.?
Lingfield Point offers a full programme of health and well-being activities, courses and workshops ? from crafting to gardening - as well as on-site facilities such as a nursery for child care, catering, parking, a 24-hour concierge service and grow-your-own allotments.
Lingfield Point is home to many prestigious businesses such as the Student Loans Company, AMEC, NAAFI, Four Seasons Health Care and FaulknerBrowns.
